Polishing Tool – Concave Machine – Copper

This dial gauge is used in measuring the size of gemstones. Its available in two sizes:

1. 10 mm capacity
2. 20 mm capacity

These tools are used for grinding or faceting of gemstones on our concave faceting machine models AEW-CFM and AEW-CFM(2). These tools are available in 600 Grit and in 3 sizes:

1. 12 mm
2. 16 mm
3. 25 mm

The grinding or faceting tools should be of the same size as that of the polishing tools being used.

The grinding laps are available in different grit sizes like 80 Grit, 100 Grit, 180 Grit, 260 Grit, 360 Grit, 600 Grit, 1200 Grit, 1500 Grit, 3000 Grit Selection of correct grit size is based on the type of operation and the type of stones being worked on. If your Gemstone is hard and big size and you need to pre shape, a coarser grit (80 to 360) is preferred. The fine grits (600-3000) to be used for stones that are soft, small and the operation required is faceting or pre-polish. Grit Laps come as wrappers only and a Grit Lap base is required for each of them. Select your grit Size(s)
